Whether it is your first time at the zoo or your hundredth, there is always something new to experience during a visit to Cat Tales Zoological Park.  Guests walk within 8 feet of the animals.  You may tour the Zoo on your own, and learn about the animals from informative signs located throughout the facility.  Many guests prefer to take a guided tour (the best way to see the animals in action) given by our staff.

Make your visit extra memorable with the purchase a "Treat Bag" and go on your own Big Cat & Bear Adventure behind the public barrier fence to hand feed a Lion, Tiger, or Bear with one of the Zookeepers.  (Restricted to age 8 and older for safety reasons.) Find that special souvenir in our newly renovated Gift Shop.  Feeling hungry?  We have plenty of snacks and non-alcoholic beverages available in the Gift Shop as well, or you can bring a picnic to enjoy in our picnic area just outside the Zoo gates.  Spend an hour, or spend the day...we look forward to seeing you.

Both the Zoo and School are located on the same site just north of Spokane, Washington.

Exit of Interstate 90 on Division Street (Hwy 395 and Hwy 2); travel north (approximately 12 miles) at which time Hwy 2 (Newport Hwy) separates and requires you to turn off to the right.  Follow Hwy 2 for 6 miles and the Zoo will be on your right. The exit is Carney Road.
